Marriage Seminar
This weekend Sevier Heights will host the Gary and Greg Smalley marriage seminar; it’s not just for the already-married. The church is encouraging any couples who are considering marriage as well as those individuals who plan on marrying one day to attend if possible. The ticket cost per person for the weekend is $50.00, BUT WE WILL NOW COVER THE ENTIRE COST FOR AS MANY SINGLES WHO WISH TO ATTEND. The conference starts on Friday, April 24 (7:00-10:00 p.m.) and ends on Saturday, April 25 (8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.).
If you would like tickets, even if you can only attend one session, email Kathy Williams at kathy.williams"at"sevierheights.org or call her at 577.4222, and she will have tickets waiting on you at the “will call” table here at the church on Friday evening.

New Class Study
Have you ever given a farewell address? It’s not an easy thing to do. Actually, to say that I don’t like goodbyes is a huge understatement, but when you are going to be away from someone you love, you have to confront the situation.
Jesus knew his time had come. He knew that his earthly ministry was coming to an end. He knew the death he would shortly have to endure. This is the context of John 13-17 when Jesus and the disciples dine together one last time. Knowing the events that are about to take place, Jesus takes time to prepare them for the sorrow, joy, and power they were to experience in the days to come. He gives them direction. He gives them comfort and assurance. He prays for them… and us.
The lessons that Jesus gave the disciples in the final hours before he was betrayed are just as valuable now as they were then. Join us for a six week study of John 13-17 beginning March 1 and ending April 5, one week before Easter.
